Witty and brilliant with tremendous heart...A must read

I came across Ofili's work first through his cartoons on facebook. They were always apt, captured the essence of everyday life in a very simplistic, knock you over the head way. His book, "How Stupidity Saved my Life" is moving, witty, sad, encouraging, uplifting and laugh out loud funny. He encourages all of us to cast aside our fears and reach beyond what we have been told is out of our reach. Who dares to dream? or take a step towards that dream? That person succeeds. This book is a must read for all those who are struggling with fear, rejection, a dream they have been told was unrealistic. Basically it is a book for all of mankind. READ IT!

I have always believed that success is a choice that we all make. Reading `How Stupidity Saved My Life' has re-enforced that belief for me. By sharing his experiences and that of other people, Ofili was able to teach us how we all possess the innate ability to affect our lives. This book is truly inspirational. It was very fun to read and offered so many lessons that can be applied to everyday life. This is a very cleverly written book that forces you to challenge yourself and strive to achieve more. It was a great read; you will not be disappointed.

Best form of learning is from the mistakes of others.

The most tragic events we face tend to have the biggest life lessons to propel us forward to greater heights. Each story in the book can act as a metaphor for an experience in each of our lives.
Also the fact that the stories are short, will be encouraging to non-readers to pick up the book to read and may even make lifelong readers out of them.
